I hate my bus. It is one of the older ones. Which means there is no air conditioning. Everything I get off the bus, my shirt (on the back and on the armpits) is damp with sweat. It's so gross. I want to look/smell fresh, not like a pig.

I can't have my mother or father drive me to school because 1) I don't have a dad. 2) My mother goes to work at 7:00 in the morning at about 3 hours away ( the bus comes at 9:00)

I need help. Thanks.

A lot of kids ride my bus so I get kind of sweaty also just from all the heat we give off. Don't worry about it. But, do as someone suggested earlier and get one of those nifty portable fans.

^yes, get a portable fan. IF you can't get that then..try not to lean back on the seat and pull the window down. Feel the breeze. =D

try to get a carpool with your friends who also ride the bus (or don't if you don't live too far away from each other).

if that doesn't work you can just tell your mom, one of her friends might be able to take you to school.

i personally never had that problem, i take a public bus and the air conditioning is full blast so i freeze.

I've found that when you're in a hot room or vehicle, it helps to not let your back touch the seat more than it has to. Lean forward some, maybe put your elbows on you knees with your head in your hands? And if you can find a way to keep your arms away from your side, that will helpt prevent sweating in your armpits.

I used to have that problem. Well I would get that problem just walking down the street. ;P
Just make sure your using a good anti-perspirant. Deoderant only covers the smell. An anti-perspirant will stop ya from sweating as the clue is in the name. ;P Make sure ya top isn't too tight.
I don't see how a portable fan thing will do any good. Unless your gonna stick it under your pits and your back.. you'll still get the same problem as if you only use it on your face, it will keep ya face cool but not nothing else..
If none of that helps then go to ya doctors.. tell them ya problem.. might get told ya have hyperhidrosis (excessive perspiration), most likely then get something which looks like a roll-on deoderant but is actually Aluminium chloride hexahydrate and ya use that most nights.. before ya go to sleep and tadaaa your problem is cured :]

Gawd I ramble on abit ;[

Hahha, yeah get a portable fan.
Woo, good thing I don't have to ride bus, I would hate it.

But I think the bets thing you could do is just shower and put deodorant in the morning and get then fan.

dont move around a lot on the bus because that makes you sweat even more. what i do is try not to even thinka bout the heat...if you do you'll get even hotter.

-antiperspirant, not deoderant.
- keep a spare shirt in your bag.
-Don't wear a light coloured shirt, (eg. white) it'll show the sweat marks more
- don't lean against the seat with your back
- get a portable fan, or a hand fan (you know the ones you have to fan yourself with that don't use batteries?

Don't wear tight shirts, that would just increase more sweat no matter how much antiprespirant (sp) you used.

Wear shirts with 100% cotton, they absorb more sweat than any other materials.

Hand fans and portable fans are good too.
