First Blends, Yes two and both made with gimp!

I made these two blends. The blending was easy, I couldn't believe it, my uncle showed me (I really want to know how, because usually his company uses big programs, ones that they pay for ^_-) Anyway both are of Emma Watson, from Harry Potter, and I just want to know what you guys think.

Which do you like better?

Also it might take awhile to load since they are saved as pngs and sorry they are so small...

Ok, this one is diffrent, it's colored, says Emma's name, and tell me if the line is gone, because yeah. I'm dumb.

Ehh, they don't really look that blended, only the overlay pattern makes it look blended.

Yea, you should blend it more so that yellowish beigish thing between the pictures doesn't show.

I know it's not exactly blending only feathering, I just got gimp, and there are few tutorials ya know? So I ust took the easy way out but these were for a new layout, but they didn't come out *shakes head sadly* Oh well, I'll make a Christina one now ^^

It may be my effed up vision, but I see this white 'ghost' line. Maybe...you could work on making sure there isn't one? Or maybe i'm just stupid..Yes..that may be it...


But anyways nice pics I suppose...

yea..i see that too. try to feather out the parts and then lay them over each other, that way there isnt a gap in between the pics.

Yeah not very good but better than most I've done, but anyway, the line I'll try to re- do it and fix it see if it looks better ^^

YEAHHHH GIMP! haha those are great, I like the first one better than the second one, but the blue one is the best. I still think there's a little bit of a separation between the pictures (i think it's a tree?) but it's great, especially for one of your firsts
