Is there a code I can use to Disable a code instead of telling it not to be displayed?

I didn't mean just in Xanga I meant in general is there a code that you can type in that I can tell the site not to allow a specific code to work. Like say the site used <object> in it and I wanted that not to work. Is there a code that will tell it not to?
