flips your hair upside down and blow dry with hairspray, then scrunch.

Perhaps get a comb and tease it slightly?

Do you use the special stuff for scrunching your hair? I forgot what it's called (it might just be regular mousse or something), but my friend uses it when she does her hair, and she has naturally straight hair. You definitely need something in your hair before you actually scrunch it to hold it in. And hairspray it when you get the wanted effect, too.

You might want to try some mousse and put it in wet hair and strunch it. As an option, you can use hairspray to help it stay put. I have thin, straight hair and mousse does wonders.

I have naturally wavy hair, so to get the scrunch effect on my hair is extremely easy.

I don't have straight hair though, but what I do is..

Put in any kind of gel, then after I put in a good amount of gel, I use mousse. After I put the mousse in, I hairspray the hell out of it while I blow it dry. Take a blow-dryer diffuser, flip your head upside down, then spray while your hair is under the diffuser.

I get a great curl when I do that. _smile.gif

You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

Try applying curling mousse in your hair when it's damp, then blow drying with a round ceramic brush. When drying, twist your hair loosely and pull down with the brush, releasing the hair and hopefully getting waves.
