that's great and all but where do i change the text in my comments box? you gen just has the comment time and date text.

The highlights of course were the masters of Progressive Metal "Dream Theatre" and at the end it was 90 min. of Trash Metal with "Megadeth",  it was AWEsome. :-)  Those crazy headbangers.  But yeah,  in response to your question,  progressive music usually refers to progressive rock or progressive metal.  I listen to progressive metal which is music that is a blend of the heavy riffs,  sound,  aggression,  and attack of metal along with a blend of progressive rock and its neo classical influences.  Basically it is Metal that is heavy but has more melody and has very distinct sounds.  Put together Metallica and Led Zeppelin and there you have it.  One primary thing that makes it different is that many Prog metal bands have a keyboardist.  It all started in the 80's with bands like Queensryche and Dream Theatre but have never really hit popularity even to this day.  A lot of it is due to their emphasize on intrumental talent and long interludes between lyrics and instrumentals and also the fact that they have songs that vary from 13-24 minutes (not always but many times).  There it is,  the response to your question.  Sorry it's so long,  but I hope it makes sense.
