so the other day i was thinking "wow i havent written a poem in a LONG time..." so i decided to write this for someone i care alot about...who i shall never see :(. tell me what you think.

here we stand on top of this mountain,
no turning back cause' we've made it this far
all i want you to do is to hold my hand
and we'll wait as the earth crumbles apon us.

as i remember all this, i also get reminded
its a fairytale dream
that will never be happening

all i want is for us to be in the same place together
is that too much to ask for?
it's as if you've been around me all along
i just never got to see your face

i wait for the days when my dream will come true
me in you're arms, and hearing the words "i love you"
