My boyfriend went to Freshman-Sophmore Prom today with someone other than me...I'm trying not to be jealous because he says they're only friends...but it stings...and it hurts...and I wanna cry, and I don't know what to do I'm so confused..

 its okayy wel.. isnt the prom thing over already? u cant do anything about it now.. or u can hint him ur kinda upset over it and maybe he'll do something to make u happy

I didn't wanna tell him because I didn't wanna pull the jealous girlfriend bit. I mean, when he first told me I didn't mind because he lives a ways away and we don't get to see eachother much. But my friend was all like, "If he loved you like he said he did he wouldn't go to prom. Anyways proms for guys who want to get laid" and it hurt so bad when they said it.
He also keeps asking me if I want pictures, and I wanna say no, because I don't wanna see him with another girl, but I don't wanna hurt him. Maybe I'm being weird because my last boyfriend who I was with a year and a half was cheating on me the whole time...and I'm...scared.. |

well u cant compare ur ex with him... all guys are different rite? i dont think its a bad idea to be jealous.. actually i think u should make him feel ur jealous cuz it'll mean that u actually care about him... what ur friend said doesnt have to be true to ALL guys... he probably went to really have fun.. its okay to be jealous =) if he gets hurt cuz ur jealous u gotta explain to him why u have the right to feel this way.. u knoe.. cuz u dont trust the ppl around him and u dont knoe wuts gonna happen... i think in a relationship u should always let the other one knoe how u feel especially wen u dotn feel good

I agree with voicing your feelings to him, I mean he technically still is your boyfriend. Keeping crap like that bottled up ain't good, might as well tell him when you know you're not going to go all out at him or something...

Well from a guy's point of view...
You shouldn't be too overprotective. He needs his space. And you definitely can't compare him to your ex. If at first he seemed anything like your ex you probably wouldn't have dated him. Try to be a little bit more involved in his life but don't smother him. |
