how do you add a design thing in those 6 boxes that say "send message, foward to friend, add to friends, add to favorites, instant message, block user, add to group & rank user"?

ive seen different colors but i want it to be my background image in those boxes...

Firstly what you need to do, is create an image the same size as the default contact box.

I normally just hit "Print Screen" if I ever do any contact boxes. That way it's easier to line up the buttons. So you want one of your current background, if you have Photoshop, just create a new layer.. and then the type of buttons you want (they can just be words, no pictures.. whatever floats your boat) and cover each one of them, that you want seen. If you don't want "Rank Me" just leave it blank and nobody will really be the wiser). Anyways, after you have the buttons, just change to background layer.. and put the background you want on, and then host the picture somewhere. Imageshack, tinypic, photobucket.. whereever. Then enter this code into your about me

QUOTE
<style type="text/css">
.contactTable {
width:300px !important; height:150px !important; padding:0px !important;
background-image:url("http://www.yoururlhere.com/blah.jpg");
background-attachment:scroll; background-position:center center;
background-repeat:no-repeat; background-color:transparent; border:0px;}
.contactTable table, table.contactTable td { padding:0px !important;
border:0px; background-color:transparent; background-image:none;}
.contactTable a img {visibility:hidden; border:0px !important;}
.contactTable .text {font-size:1px !important;}
.contactTable .text, .contactTable a, .contactTable img {filter:none;}
</style>

Change URL to yours, of course.
