hi everyone.

1) I found a really cute image that I would like to use as an image map for my livejournal. But I have absolutely no idea what codes I need to do that. If anyone could provide me with all the codes I need to use an image map, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Oh yes, and the image I have was used for an xanga layout for free users, and it has a spot where it says,"Navigation X.X.X.X.X." and each "X" is a different link. So I have the exact image the way I want it, I just don't have the codes.

2) One more thing. Even though I got the image off of a free users site, if I take it and use it on my livejournal after I get it set up, should I credit the person that posted the original image, or is it OK not to?

THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE.

Before stealing a graphic from another user, you need to e-mail/comment/im them for permission to use that graphic.

To create your own image map, you need to download your own program to create one: cutemap.com or search google.com for "image map program."

oh okay. sorry I didn't know that was stealing, I just thought that since it was free it was OK. Now I know and I won't pursue an image map with anyone else's graphics. Thanks for telling me before I got myself into trouble!

You were a big help, thanks so much.
