The graphics are nice, but it seems a bit...discombobulated? Not sure what word to use, but things seem a bit broken for me, and out of place--think it's a coding issue, not a design issue. It's especially bad on Firefox, but doesn't look like what I think it should look like in IE, either. Other suggestion is that the text is really small on high-res monitors.

Everything would look great except for the white space at the top where the banner is supposed to be. I suppose I wouldn't mind that so much except that it's covering their faces. The repeating images doesn't blend so well with everything else either. I also didn't like that the text was centered in your welcome message. Perhaps you should justify it? It looks off considering that the rest of your layout is blockish. And the text is a little hard to read. Consider using a different font that looks better in smaller size or just use a bigger size.
Another thing that irked me is that I had to switch to IE to see it. Someone else mentioned that it was odd on FF. Everything is so out of place and you can see the original myspace layout behind it. I think it'd be good if you tried to design it for all browsers instead of one? Overall, I think the layout was good except for the things mentioned above. |
