Well gang,
I have been lurking around for about 4 days, looking and reading, hoping to come accross the perfect solution to my problems in someone else's post, but searched as I did... I couldnt nail it down. My apologies in advance if I missed them... Here is my test LJ (the real one is user name: kelsnotchels) and here is my code, as it stands... So, here are the things that I have been unable to accomplish: 1. I would like to use the image map feature to turn the text on my header into buttons (info, friends, etc) I have what I thought is the right code in the box above, and have tried it in about 3 different places. 2. I would like the entry text 'box' to have a top margin within the blue box, so that the text doesnt go up and over the header image... like if it could dissapear behind the header image, so that all the text stays nice and neat in the blue... 3. Some how, the top navigation, main body, and bottom navigation are all different sizes... no idea how that happened... 4. And its in generator now, and its not transparent, but if you have suggestions on a different layout style, or if we can get transparent to work, that would be cool. I surely dont expect one person to be able to get through all this, but I would absolutely love your help... thank you SO much for reading! |

Put a website in your userinfo, and look at your journal to see what still doesn't work/works.
Then reply back here. |

-murmur- Why do you need <html></html> tags?
CODE background-image: url('http://img280.imageshack.us/img280/975/bckgndcopy9nq.jpg'); ^ That is what's screwing up the image. You have it as the main image too.CODE <img src="http://img280.imageshack.us/img280/975/bckgndcopy9nq.jpg" width="1080" height="414" border="0" usemap="#Map"> As for everything else... I don't know enough about LJ to help you.

Well, I took out that second one... anybody have any idea how to make this work?
It seems that now, the header/bkgrd image is in the header navigation, and there is an image map under there, but its not in the right place... hmph. |
