Hey gang -

my blog readers have told me they are getting pop ups from my Xanga.

Today is the first day they have been getting them.

What would cause pop ups to happen on my blog, how do I figure out the cause, and what do I do to make it stop?

What type of pop-ups are they getting? Advertisements or your own personal messages, I'm sure they'll go away tomorrow.

They are not personal messages from me... so I assume they are advertisements.

Why do you think they will go away on their own by tomorrow?

Edit: my visitors are reporting Pop-ups still.

If anyone reads this that knows how to make them go away, I would appreciate an answer.

Thanks.

Maybe you have added something and there is something in the code which gives your xanga pop ups?

Counter codes. If you have a counter, they put in ads usually.
Also, some chatterboxes do that as well, but not all... Certain remotely hosted scripts will also add in pop-ups.

Thanks for the replies.

I have a coolcounter, and I found on another forum the code lines to remove to prevent pop ups from the counter.

Hopefully that will do the trick.
