i don't know if this is spam or not --> about closing topics, for example in webdesign if you were asking about how to do something, and no one has responded in a while mods can't close topics if the topic creator has not comfirmed that they understand.

perhaps there should be an alternative? such as, closed after the creator replies, OR after a certain amount of time, if its still hanging around on the first page? eh, what do i know, i dont even use te webdesign forums, but still, just an idea |

That's my personal thing. I don't like closing things because then I get 50575373476 new topics I need to close simply because I closed the first one. Which they could've still posted in.
That's why a lot of the Xanga Help topics are still open. Because people make the topic and never say "thank you" or anything so I can close it... Make any sense?
