Depends on who I'm talking to. If it's asking someone I dont know, restroom. Someone I'm friends with, bathroom.

 Hotel bathrooms have these huge comfy couches and chairs and once my friends and I just like, hung out there for like half an hour.

well it depends if you are being proper or not. like i would say bathroom if i am at someone's house and the restroom if i were at a public place.
