Private bathrooms are bathrooms, and public bathrooms are what I call restrooms.

Why is it called a restroom? Who actually rests when they're on the john?

I've seen restrooms with couches in them... the lines can be long!

And, yeah, I call it a restroom most of the time, unless with family, than its bathroom.

Depends on who I'm talking to. If it's asking someone I dont know, restroom. Someone I'm friends with, bathroom.

So so so many things!

I usually say the Loo or the John, but now I'm more accustomed to saying the Restroom.

Yeah.
I heard that we're (WI) the only state that calls it a bubbler.

I say bubbler and look at people weird when they call it a water foutian. My friends that have went out of state for college and work have started calling it a water foutian... someday I'm going on a road trip and asking "Where is the bubbler?" and writing a book of reactions I get.

Bubbler? laugh.gif Now that is something I've never heard before. That's so awesome, it's like another one of Wisconsin's contributions to the world.
