I'm having a problem, I have a background I'm trying to get on xanga, and when I put it on xanga, it ends up being really small.

I've tried resizing it and putting on there, but it doesn't work. I've got it uploaded in photobucket.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

Thank you.

Photobucket tends to resize images. :\ I suggest you use imageshack.us or something.

But other pictures that I put in my background don't resize, such as the one I have in my background now...
I don't get that.

I never said it resized all the time. I said photobucket just tends to resize because of image size in K or MB or whatever.

Like what Toby said, upload it to another image hosting site than Photobucket. Photobucket resizes images that are larger than 250KB.

you can just go to imageshack and upload it there, or slice up your images into smaller bits to load faster

the picture that you want probably exceeded 250KB, therefore, photobucket resized it down so it doesnt take up that much space

theres 2 ways you can fix it:

1. if the picture is in a BMP format, save the picture that you want as a JPG or JPEG format (they dont take up as much space as BMP's do)

2. register for a free account here where you can get 50MB of web space and fast uploading servers (good for uploading any type of files like pictures, songs, etc..)
