Well, I don't see why people don't like the fact that there are a lot of HP fans. At least people have found something to be interested in besides drugs and sex..

Anyway, I got my book at my local bookstore and I was surprised there wasn't a line like there was when the 5th book came out. I get the 5th book really late, but I was told there was a huge ass line.

Yeah, me either. Kind of wondered why people get upset over the fact that people are actually reading again.

I went to a Midnight Magic Party and everything was fine. I messed (you could say flirted) with the guy putting those wash-away tattoos on kids. He was nice, and his hands were warm. (I got six tattoos myself.) All in all, it was a lot of fun. My friend and I ran around with our wands yelling "Stupefy!" at all these random people.

Edit// 200th post. happy.gif

Yeah I went to a party for it as well, but it was at some bookstore down in Southside. I can't remember the name. pinch.gif It was this huge three-story building that had various stations set up (i.e. potions, tattoos as you said but you're probably not going to respond to this anyways because you haven't been active in forever, door prizes, etc.) with employees dressed up as the characters. I think I got about five balloon animals. I had to wait in line amongst a pack of raving, angsty five year-olds. laugh.gif

I went to Barnes and Noble at midnight for the 5th, which was fun because it was packed, but I was in Virginia for the 6tj, so I made my uncle drive me to a Walmart an hour away to get it at midnihgt which was not so fun, but at least i got it.

I had so much fun at my Barnes and Noble Half Blood Prince release. Me and my friend went there at 7 and played all these totally lame Harry Potter games that were for little kids. We messed around and read other books until midnight, and I eventually got my book. It was funny because my other friend doesn't even like Harry Potter, but she came anyway. Such a good friend laugh.gif.

I guess it just depends on the kind of experience you had. I'm definitely going back for the release of the 7th!
