shorter guys, ...confused Options

There's this guy name Eric who likes me & he's really cool & everything, but he's like an inch shorter than me & it bother mes & I'm only 5'3" I'm not even that tall!!!... ..When we talk about height he says he's taller than me, but I'm pretty sure I'm taller than him...Has it ever bothered you someone whose shorter than you likes you & you think to yourself sometimes maybe if he was a little taller you'd go out with him?!?!...


-I don't know if I'm considered shallow in another persons perspective, but I think it's jusst me bein uncomfortable in the situation..

Ive never had that problem, because Im short anyways, so most guys I talk to or try to talk to me are taller than me. And I like tall guys anyways. But if you like him you should ignore his height.

I'm 5'8''. At this age, MANY boys are shorter than me. I don't let it get to me. I've gone out with people as short as 5'4".... Don't worry about it, if you like him, go for it.

I am short. hmm, but not the shortest in my class though. I say I'm 5'6 or something along the lines of that. hmm, I've never had this problem either. but, I would say no. not because of the height but something else.. like, something else of that boy's personality (sp?)

i suppose you not going out with him because he's an inch shorter is being shallow..
but i wouldnt think that it's that bad cause.. well it's a personal preference

ive gone out with a guy who was 4`9 when i was like 5`2. it seems awkward at first but you get used to it. heehee plus he was cute as hell xD

rofl. So I didn't go out with him, but Henry (Mystical) told everyone he was 5'8" or 5'10", and he turned out to be shorter than me (I'm 5'4", he's about 5'1").

I would never go out with a guy that was shorter than me. It's just at turn off.

And there have been topics on height before. I'm just too lazy to dig them up right now.

Honestly, to me, to turn a guy down because of his height is about as rude as it can get. Do you seriously think they can fricking help how tall they are?

My ex was SEVEN inches shorter than me. I didn't give a rip - he was an awesome guy. Sure, it was very awkward to dance wth him, but we didn't let that get into the way.

Hopefully some people will learn to look past such petty differences like height.

ha i know what your talking about.. i really like this guy in my class, but he might be about an inch shorter than i am.. lol but that really doesnt matter to me at all, ive never really jugded anyone by apperance, but height is a little diffrent, just a bit ackward.. well dont worry heights will evenrtully even out, and if you want you can try to seem a little shorter.. u kno.. crouch a little, lean against something if you can.. umm make sure your hair isnt really big.. lol..

Hm,i went out with a shorter guy,personally it was weird enough making out with him. Lol i broke up with him after like a few weeks, i felt really uncomfortoble cuz i have to look kinda down wen i talk to him or kiss him and im 5'2 and hes about 4'7..yeah.

Yeah I don't really think I'd ever date a guy shorter than me. My ex-boyfriend was pushing it because he was like an INCH taller. I guess it is a bit shallow but everyone is shallow in some way or other.

If you like you should go out with him, it's not even a big height difference.

My bf is 4"9 and I'm 5"5. Height really doesn't bother me. Sure I have to look down to talk to him and kiss him but It really doesnt bother me a whole lot.
