No, cigarettes are more harmfull. They contain more nicotine & other poisons or something.
marihuana is just illegal in most countrys (not in mine, ha :P) because it effects your behaviour and you can get addicted to it.

I think if you dont do it every day it will get out of your system faster then smoking a pack a day. If you drink lots of water it will get out of your system faster to. That gos for cigarettes and marijane. Its bad and you should never start it is very hard to stop and it makes your teeth yellow, you get hair where you dont want it, you get yellow fingers, bad breath and 7 min off of your life.

i think cigarettes are much more harmful than marijuana because for the simple fact that it's legal. you can get it much more easily than marijuana.

it may not be too likely to get addicted at the first try but it can be possible.

i believe that there is a difference between straight tobacco and cigarettes. cigarettes have a whole bunch of other crap along with the tobacco but i'm not too sure. you should probably google this stuff.

to answer the question regarding clearing your body after smoking a cigarette, i believe it takes approximately 48 hours for your body to be clear of nicotine

1. Marijuana contains roughly 10 times the amount of carcinogenic substances as cigarettes. Furthermore, marijuana smoke is inhaled more deeply, and held in the lungs longer, than cigarette smoke. In that sense, marijuana is more dangerous, but most people smoke far more cigarettes than marijuana, and in that sense, cigarettes are more dangerous.

2. You cannot get addicted to cigarettes with just one.

3. Cigarettes contain tobacco, although there are other ways to smoke tobacco, including pipe and hookah.

4. Both are dangerous to the lungs. Marijuana contains more carcinogens, but I think cigarettes might have more tar (don't hold me to that, though, I might be wrong). However, keep in mind that marijuana smoke is generally not filtered before being inhaled.

5. Yes, if you smoked marijuana or tobacco infrequently, or just once, it could be cleaned from the body. Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, takes roughly 28 days to leave the body completely, as it is stored in fat.

6. Smoking rarely would cause your body to cleanse itself, although I don't know if it would do so at a faster rate.

Just out of curiosity, is this really for a health project?

Adding on, marijuana is harmful because it is a gateway drug, which means that it can lead to the use of more dangerous drugs.

You have been reading your high school text book a bit too much. Marijuana is not a "gateway drug." In fact, there is probably no such thing as a "gateway drug."

^ THANK YOU. That is one of the most annoying misconceptions ever.

I don't think either are necessarily more harmful than the other. Both can be harmful, especially when smoked in large amounts.

no, marijuana is worse. i did a project on this. its got 4 times more cancer causing tar than one cigarette; compared to one joint. but actually, pot is the most.."safest" drug to use. if you use drugs.
