Okay, so here is a group of closest friends consisted of 4 girls: me, Fanny, Cheryl, and Tania. We hang out at school alot, but after school and in the summer, that is totally a different thing.

Tania and I are best friends and we have no problems at all, but we do feel the same way towards Fanny, she just treats us as invisible, except her so-called best friend Cheryl.

Yes, Fanny is very selfish, whenever there is a mall hangout etc., she only invites Cheryl right before the hangout (not like a few days before it), so basically Cheryl doesn't have the time to invite. (example: Hey Cheryl, let's go to my house for right now!) Also, Cheryl is kind of introvert and shy so she doesn't invite people (I can excuse that, I know her personality).

Also, one time the four of us went to Disneyland hangout, as usual, Fanny dragged Cheryl away and tried all these fun games there. Fanny was like "dragging" her away so she doesn't even have time to say "bye" to us when they left. Also, Fanny didn't say "bye" at all. They just left. So Tania and I were just chilling off there, we were sort of afraid of those roller coasters. Tania and I agreed on that Fanny treated us as invisible.

Well, I never blame on Cheryl for that. I do hang out with her when Fanny is not there, that is way more comfortable for us. And she is definitely a cool friend to hang out with.

Tania, Cheryl, and I (even some of my other friends) discussed about Fanny behind her back before and we ALL agree on that selfish issue concerning Fanny. Cheryl knows that Fanny is treating me and Tania as invisible but she can do nothing to change a person's personality.

Sometimes Tania, Cheryl, and I do feel irritated about Fanny's attitude. She alienates friends and "tries to be popular." Ironically, she is popular of those bratty attitudes. Fanny could get pissed off at us for the smallest mistakes we have made. Yet we forgive her big mistakes. Well, because Tania and I (even Cheryl) are better than Fanny academically and also in other ways, she gets jealous at us. Because Cheryl gets a PSP for her birthday, Fanny wants PSP too, and asks if me and Tania have a PSP or not, so we say "no," guess what, Fanny keeps telling us to get a PSP and comes up with numerous of objections for whatever reasons we say that we don't want a PSP.

Tania, Cheryl, and I know that we can't dump Fanny, Fanny could just talk trash behind out backs to her other friends afterwards because that is what my other friends are suffering from. She is pretty normal most of the time, but sometimes her attitude is very unbearable. When Fanny feels lonely (or when Cheryl is not around), guess what, she goes hang out with Tania and me.

Any advices on how Tania, Cheryl, and I should deal with this friend?

Because we don't hate her...it is hard to break that relationship off, we hope we could stay normal, neither friends nor enemies. But because of Fanny's personality, we know that she would hate us like hell afterwards. I know what will happened, our other friends become enemies with her and being cussed by her too. We don't want to suffer from the same fate as our other friends.
