can you hug your crush in front of their parents?

do you think you'd get in "trouble" by your crush's parents if you hugged your crush in front of them? this is not your gf/bf, this is your crush.

a few days ago, when i was about to leave someone who i had a crush on, i was planning on hugging her before i left, but i didn't because her parents where there.

did i do the right thig by not hugging her in front of her parents. and i think this is relavant but, these were filipino parents.

umm...datz tough...well...yoo could hug her...but like... they could care and they myte not... cuz i did once in front of his parents..and they dont really care...so...i onno....

ANYWAYS..
It depends on her parents. If her parents allow her to have a boyfriend, then of course you can hug her (I know she's just a crush, but if she has a boyfriend, wouldn't her parents expect hugging?), but if they don't then just stick with waving goodbye.

EDIT
I just saw that you asked if you could hug her while you were alone. Of course you can. It's not like her parents are there.... I hug my guy friends all the time!!

well, i hugged her mom. and shook hands with her dad.

edit.//again, i'm refering to hugging your crush, not a gf/bf.

Yah me and my bf hug infront of my parents but Not kiss...hugging and holding hands a little bit of cuddling is fine

It depends how strict their parents are when it comes to having their daughter dating. They might take it as the wrong message if you do. But if she has alot of guy friends, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Yea sure why not, hugs are no big deal, unless they have really strict parents that don't let them date and stuff. I think you should find that out first before you hug them.

I don't see a problem, unless she has a problem with it.

Everytime I hug someone I get the 3rd degree on who she is, where she's from, ect.

That might be all you wory about.

I'd say it really depends on how many people you hug, and they are. If you normally hug friends (usually girls, Guys only if you're real close) then feel free to hug your love interest in front of your parents. That is, if you're friends enough to do so already.

but iono some parents are really strict

well im flip too and i must say that my parents wouldnt really care if some guy who liked me gave me a hug.

but iono i dont think race matters...it's jus really the parents in general.

some ppl here dont get it. i know lots of ppl whos parents dont like the idea that their son or daughter is actually touching the other sex! haha.

but me? i wouldnt.
