im only 12 but i want a job so bad.. i need mo money!! i mean my parents are cheap and give me like 2 dollars every week i clean.. grr why does getting money have to be so hard.. (and no im not lazy, im actually a hard worker)

theres this ice cream place that I wanna work at..you gotta be 15 to work there I think and *gasp* I'll be 15 in December, so I think next summer I'll attempt to get a job there..only because I need money tongue.gif

eh, this is an old topic but it looks like i've never replied...I'm a lifeguard at a water park. I also sometimes am a birthday party hostess too. They're open all through the winter (because it's indoors also) so, even though they only pay $6.50, I guess I'll keep working there until I find a better job

Aww. I used to have that kind of system. I got $2 a week when I was like.. 9. Then I just quit cos it didnt even matter. Then the next year they made it $3! And I still didn't care. Then I got to 10th grade. And I get like $10-25 a week (it depends if I do my house chores) and that includes lunch money at school. And lunch is $1.85. For 5 days. I jsut dont eat at school.

Jobs suck, but if you really really want one (and you old enough) make sure it isn't in the food are... it really gross sometimes. But no matter what, you can never escape people attitudes. _dry.gif

just don't be like the people at our best buy. when we ask about a product or whatever, they never even heard of it. they never can show us where to get stuff.

i want work at a pet store or as a cashier because clicky buttons and scanning things are just that cool. and i need money because i dont get any allowance. stubborn.gif

well when i was 9 i got a job at an animal hospital.....i was a groomers assistant.....i got 2 give dogs/cats baths and cut their hair...on average i would make about $100 a week. but when i was 11 my mom stopped working there so i had 2 stop too =[ but now i have a new job.......
