Surely, with today's technology, there must be a calculator or a computer that can do this kind of problem for you.

Work, schmerk. I mean, when are you going to use limits in real life, anyway?

[EDIT]
haha ok. as explained to me by a friend... i have no idea if this is right, btw.

you plug that equation (x-1)/(2x-x^2) into ur calculator and you go to tableset.
then for tableset, you plug in 2.0001 (because lim as x-> 2+)
then you go take a look at your table...

--(8:22:50 PM): so that means as x gets closer to 2
--(8:23:00 PM): the y value will become a bigger and bigger negative number

as in, if you replace the tableset with 2.00001 instead of 2.0001, the Y value gets larger (can be seen in table)

--(8:25:34 PM): so since y is getting to be larger numbers in the negative infinite direction
--(8:25:38 PM): then there is no limit
--(8:25:43 PM): cuz infinity isn't a number

wow. i learned something new today.
