Hi everyone, anyone,
This is my first topic/post in this forum and I hope theres someone who can help me. I've been fiddling around with overrides and a layout for my paidaccount in livejournal. I have a fixed background with an entry box that all my recent entries show up in. What Im having trouble with, because Im clueless on how to do it, is having my friends entries show up in that entry box. When I click on the friends link, the friends page is the normal generator style and my background is gone. Im using an S1 layout. Im not sure if there are overrides for this type of problem, or if I have to create a style sheet for each page. Because I don't know how to make style sheets AT ALL. blink.gif , Here is my livejournal. If anyone can offer any advice that would be really helpful.
thanks.

Honestly, you should take advantage of having a paid account, and create style (s1) or theme (s2) instead of using overrides.

You can customize your journal to look EXACTLY how you want it, with no problems whatsoever. The only downside is that you have to create a style for each view so that all look the same, but generally you just have to copy/paste your coding from the main page, into the calendar/friends/day view.

I'd be willing to either let you use one of my styles available for S1, or a theme for S2. Just pm me.

If not, all you need to do is copy/paste your LASTN_WEBSITE codes into FRIENDS_WEBSITE, and it will work.

thanks so much. I ended up making a style sheet for the friends and calender view. It took a bit for me to figure out how to get the hang of 'em. But, after I finished the Friends one, the Calender was no problem. I tried the copy/paste website codes this morning just to try, but i screwed that up, so im sticking with the style sheets. Im still gonna fiddle around with style sheets more. I think I want a different pic of Scarlett for each view. I just have to get my pics together. Im rambiling now. Thanks for you quick reply and the help. biggrin.gif
