The only thing that really makes the journal look a bit.. well, "ugly" is the graphic you used.
The graphic: - is too blurry - the green colorization looks awful on her - The little squares with the + sign look weird. + The color scheme is original. As far as you overrides go, you should really consider stepping it up a notch. Your timestamp is still white, which takes away the focus from everything else, which is either a shade of green/yellow/brown. Overall the concept is decent. |

^ Agreed, the green colourization doesn't go too well with her figure. I really love the colours; they're awesome, and the phrase is catchy.

I like the image on the left, but the green on her looks very bad. Everything else looks great!
