^Usually a lot of people will go and pick up their cars
i wouldn't mind if it was a good deal...as long as it's through ebay...b/c if they state false information, you'll get your money back.

I wouldnt, because you wouldnt be able to see if the car had problems, the scratches up close, and it would be difficult/imposable to return.

I'd definitely look at the seller's feedback and see if they were dependable.

If they were and it was a good deal.. I'd consider it, but I really do not know.

Honestly I would steer clear from it, but if you do choose to purchase a car on eBay ask for the VIN # and get a car history report. See if the owner has the title, if the car has ever been wrecked or stolen. You never want to buy a car that's been wrecked or stolen no matter what, because the resale value isn't there. Also there may be a lot of minor things wrong with the car such as dents or scratches that you can't see from photos, but you won't be able to find out until you receive the car. Now if the car was sold locally on eBay, it would be easier for you to check it out and talk to the owner.

No, because they could just take a picture of another person's car, and then when you win the bid, they send you a piece of crap.

You also don't know the mileage because they could like, modify it (turning it back, is that what it's called?).

I mean, it's like, 20,000(ish) kinda money you're dealing with. Not $5.00. Just be careful if you do bid.

No.

Because you need to have all the money down. A huge deposit at times, and its unsafe cause u don't see or feel the car in person.

The only good side is that you can haggle. The downside is obviously that you can never trust people on eBay. But then again, you still can't trust some people in person when you buy a car, anyway. It's a huge risk to buy on ebay, as buying anything else. wink.gif

Of course, to answer the question, I would never.

I dont know if I would feel comfortable buying a car from ebay. I am currently looking for a new car right now and I like to be able to test drive it and if needed have a mechanic check it out. I am currently using AutoTrader.com to locate cars but you dont buy cars on here. You merely check them out on online the contact the seller to come see it

You car hire a company and they can ship it on a semi ether covered or non coverd.. you know like how they ship nascar cars? But I know someone who bought an early 1900's ford t-bucket... it is nice.. I like it but yeah I would ask the person for the money and then maby... oh it was like 1,200 from ten. to ohio coverd so not too bad.
