I have an animated gif I want to put on my Xanga. I downloaded it to my computer and stored it on putitthere. When I put the img src into my xanga post, the image doesn't show up. What's the proper code for getting an animated gif file to show up in a Xanga blog?
Here's the gif... |

here's the code
<img src="URL HERE"> That should work. Make sure you click the little button that says "Edit HTML", make sure you see the coding for the post, then put in the src code. Hope that helps ![]() |

Yeah, that's what I did, but it didn't seem to work. Here's the html I used:
<div style="text-align: center;"><br> </div> <div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/6716422024.gif&s=x2"><br><height ="100"><width ="200"> </width></height></div> All it gave me was the broken image icon. |

That's your problem. Use this link instead:
http://x2.putfile.com/3/6716422024.gif To get it from now on, always right-click on the image and go to copy image location if you're using firefox, or if you're using IE go to properties to get the URL. |
