No kidding. I think Steven and I were hit because we had pinned topics. But anyway, it seems that the guy's been gone for a few hours since Sammi's account was suspended.

Kids, if you're making new threads to replace the deleted ones, uhh.. don't get too out of hand. We're waiting for our administrators to get back to restore them, since the admin have access to deleted topics. I guess if you make replacement topics, make it so that they can be merged with the original? mellow.gif

anna, it sonly in games, so not the biggest deal

yeah, my warn level was at 10%, now it's at zero.

although a si sai, that may just be the mods decreasing it, as i have been particularly lovely lately *rolleyes*

anyway, nothing else seems to be happening at the minute, and sammi has tried to contact eve (or possibly roxy, i wasnt paying attention properly) to sort thing sout

sammi's account was suspended, and so their access has been cut.

it should all be good, but unfortunately only admins have the power to restore deleted topics, so we will have to cope without those for a little while

anna keeps beatin gme to this, which is insanely irritating

also, why in gods name is she not a mod?

i've seen this happen in other forums but i never thought it'll happen to cB...stupid hackers...
We need backup (don't know how we are going to do that) and also sammi/all mods need to make their password really complicated, with numbers and characters...

Wait until a moderator ends the suspension, because it obviously wasn't your fault, and they usually don't suspend accounts for that long.

It doesn't matter what the passwords are. Sammi's was "password," Steven's was his house number + zip code, mine was "43things." There was no way the guy could've guessed Steven's & my passwords. Hacking </3

ive never seen it happen. and yeah, after this they might make some rule like your password must have random numbers or something...er... you get it... we just need caution [is confuzed]. and paul, you'll get your account back. wink.gif

Anyways Anna, yes an hacker can guess your password...i think they've got this wierd program, bleh. I used to be a moderator (yeah rolleyes.gif) in this forum and one of the admin's account got hacked, his pw was "char" mellow.gif... they couldn't get into the other admin's account because his was made up of diff characters and numbers... mine was hacked too, my pw was "justintimberlake" mellow.gif

you cant remove suspensions. you can reduce warning levels but i dont think you can remove suspensions. at least roxanne told me she couldnt.

hm, thats odd. i always figured you could. i mean, if they have the power to suspend you, dont they have the power to un-suspend you?
