Of course it is. I've worn dresses and skirts while I'm on my period and nothings happened. Just make sure that your pad/tampon is sufficient enough to soak it all up.

of course! you can hardly feel the pads and also they dont usual leak. if you're scared wear something under your skirt.

Of course you can... but i really would NOT recommend a white skirt. go for a darker color just in case... and if you're prepared, you'll be 100% fine. well, maybe not 100%.

 well, if they actually happen. I don't usually wear skirts. I like jeans. I don't even have my period yet, but I am pretty sure it could be safe.

I agree with that as well. I actually often wear short shorts that are made of thin fabric under a skirt I'm wearing. Mostly because I'm paranoid  but there are those tiems my freinds and I end up going to a playground or something and then you are REALLY glad you wore something under your skirt

of course its safe, but the thing is, someone might see your pad lining if you dont sit carefully... or something happens and your tampon falls out haha... so just be careful.
