lenses have aberrations:chromatic aberration can change color/sharpness; coma aberration which affects images at the edge of a frame; Spherical aberration can distort an image.
Only when camera has a sperical aberration can it make you look 10lbs heavier |

I do modeling and trust me the camera can make you look soo much heavier depending on the angle the picture/video is taken from.
