homecoming suggestions..., i just need a little help Options

well..this year im in student government and im suppose to be coming up with ideas for a carnival-themed homecoming. im suppose to be coming up with different days (as in how to dress up and such) for the week, the lunch time activities, how the assembly would be done, how it would include alumni and how the football game would be decorated..

i only have a few obvious ideas such as carnival booths (snowcones, cotton candy, popcorn, etc.) at the actual game, activities including the regular carnival games (balloon darts, ring toss, pie eating contest, guessing age/weight...), and a mini-parade (we're going to have floats this year)....

and since i've been lacking in creativity and ideas since summer has started, i was just hoping if anybody had any ideas to help me or any other ideas to add on to what i already have ..which isn't much. thanks..anything would help really.
