My sixteenth birthday is coming up in a few weeks and i want to do something fun because it will be my sweet sixteen, but i don't have a lot of money to spend, any good ideas?

Party with a few friends? My grandma and grandpa came over along with my uncle and I had like 4 friends come over and we played the Wii and watched movies all day. Oh and well of course the typical party stuff, food, cake, ice cream, presents.
Oh and my dad got a pinata for the little kids (his girlfriends kids) |

get some-or a lot, i guess-of your friends together, and explain you want to do something special, since it is your sweet 16 and all. ask them for help; make a plan, a list of what you need, or what you need to do, and when you're done with all that junk, just have everybody pitch in a little until you get the money you need. honestly, i don't think that's asking for too much...everybody expects a little (or a lot :] ) of partying for your sweet 16. :]

you know what i did?
i hugged a toilet for my "sweet" 16 and the whole summer. it wasn't drinking induced. make your parents proud and get knocked up for your sweet 16 :D |

What all cool sweet sixteeners do: drink one beer, take tons of pictures, pretend like you were totally wasted the night before, upload your pictures onto Facebook, and for each caption put "lol i dont even remember this".

I don't remember what I did on my sweet 16. I think I just went out to dinner at this fancy restaurant and stuff. But that may have been a different year. Anyway, if you don't have a lot of $$, just have a house party. |

Have fun with friends.
You shouldn't need more than that. BUT, if you're interested, kick your parents out and have a big house party. That's what all of my friends have done. Lot's of fun. Just be responsible. Don't get wasted. Hangovers suck.
