What program are you using? Photoshop, MS Paint, what? Either way, there's a way to work around it. Just let me know what you're working with.

You mean of your document? Go to File>New, go all the way down to contents and select transparent.

That is, if you are using PS 7.0, I don't know about other versions or programs.

Okay, then.

Download this and unzip it on your desktop or something.

Open your picture in MSPaint, fill everything you want to be transparent with something weird like bright green. Some color that doesn't exist at all in your picture.

Save as bitmap. This is important, make SURE it is in bmp format or this won't work.

Now open Giffy, load your picture. Click on a green area, so where it says "transparency" there should be a green box. Now click "save GIF" and save your picture. That's it. Let me know if you have trouble or if it works. :)

Onto GiFFY?

Click the red, blue, and green icon that says GiFFY. You'll see "Load BMP". Click that and find your file. Then you can click the "Transparent?" checkbox and find the color you want to be transparent.
