^ I'm pretty sure it's Torsten Frings, and yeah right...
The idea of being a midfielder is to find your forwards with precision. Pirlo had 3 assists in the World Cup to Frings' none. I'm sorry but Pirlo is one of the best midfielders in the world. |

^ Well, aside from Totti I'd say he put up the best showing in the World Cup as a midfielder.
Yeah, he played more games than most, but that's only indicative of how successful his team is as a result of his masterful passing. |
