^ England's on for semifinals :D But they haven't been very promising so far other than that amazing shot by Gerrard. Crouch is only there for one thing. And, that tie with Switzerland doesn't show a lot of potential for England this year.

And damnit, it sucks that Smith is out with injury. He's hot and he can play ball.

Take your stupid hatred somewhere else, loser.

Anyway - that game with the U.S. and Italy was pretty interesting.. but I still can't believe that the Italians didn't win with 10 people while the USA played with 9!!!

my thoughts on the us vs. italy game

im not going to complain about the refereeing too much, italy's first red card was well deserved, the first US red card was unfair, and eddie pope was deserved. bruce arenas should have removed pope at the half, he was playing mad reckless after his first yellow card grabbing italians, late tackles, etc he was a liability and i knew it was just a matter of time before he got his second red card. also, why wasn't eddie johnson substituted? italy used all their substitutions late, with beasly and johnson we could have mounted somewhat of an attack. donovan was brilliant today, as was gooch.. keep in mind we still havent scored a goal on our own this whole world cup .. ghana looks like the best team in the group, weird as that sounds, gonna be tough to beat them

It wasn't the Refs fault for that goal. Mcbride blocked the goalkeeper's view thus they said it was offsides.

The referee was being ridiculous anyway. Calling that goal back was sooooo stupid. AHHSKDFHSDK it makes me angry just thinking about it.
