Longing for the feeling of numbing pain,
Warm rays from a painted sphere embellish them.
I sense auras surrounding my being,
I step on leaves of lost wandering souls.

I've been held up in the immortal prison for so long,
Captured by my own translucent air.
It's dark and blank, draining my soul away,
Falling from the brink of sanity.

I remember a sunset; the beauty of night.
It's fading slowly from the illumination of time.
I close my eyes as color dissipates,
Cold air touching the scars of my memories.

I try to embrace it, but I'm too apathetic; it holds me back...
The past pains my crimson loss.
The present is bleak as it clenches my fears.
The future paints my unconscious death.

The cerulean ice freezes my breaking, closing reflection.
My shadow appears from under my pale expression.
The eyes of my invisible body call for hope.
The more I struggle, harder my shackles bind.

I tell myself to breathe in whispering water,
A spirit of vague faith crosses my vision.
I try to decipher its flame, but cannot perceive it,
Waiting in vain, an infinite torture.
