OK, I got a big trouble here. Recently, all my friends started to seem to isolate and ignore me and I was like WTF but who cares. Just today, One of my frineds told me that they all ignored me because I was a 'kiss ass' WHICH I'M NOT!!! I do give out compliments eg. one of my friends rock in table football so I say dude you rock in table football and everyone started saying Im a kiss ass and I am totally lost.
Q 1 How can I explain to them that i was just complimenting them and tell them. And how can I explain to them wen they all ignore me Q 2 Why do they think this and how can I stop it All help appreciated |

Why don't you tell them what you've just said and if they still ignore you then tell them off....they'll hear you even if they ignore you. But...if they're so "stupid" then find new friends and next time....don't be so quick to comment since they'll think you're a "kiss ass"...

your friends has issues really. there's nothing to do but to hang with a new crowd (usually you talk to them but i find that worthless cause they'll do it again ive expierenced it to much)

Thanks alot guys, you guys are really helpful! Now, Im just gonna tell them that I was complimenting and if they still dont like it well shame on them and they arent friends anyway.

I think they're trying to get to you, so just ignore them and see if they continue to ignore you, then just get new friends. You don't need nor deserve friends who'll get mad at you for being a "kiss @ss" - that's not a very good reason for your friends to ignore you. Good luck.

HII! im replying to this particular topic coz the gang pisses the hell outa me as well.  lol. when you compliment them, if they say that you're a suck up or wtv, tell them that theyre show offs and they can go screw themselves. JK two options: 1) dont compliment them lol. they wont call you a suck up and you can see how they act towards you when you dont compliment them or 2) whenever they say your a suck up or wtv, tell them that you're not and tell them your just complimenting them. if they ignore you, either ignore them back or (if you feel brave enough  ) ask them why they ignore you whenever you try and be nice to them. IF YOU DARE lmao.i dont see why they cant be nice. theyre just trying to keep up an image... i hate their image. its so annoying. they think they're so tough. but i bet you that inside, they are actually just as wimpy as anyone else  theyre just gaymaybe theyre homosexual i meen, you never know

Maybe they're just teasing you. It's your choice entirely if you want friends like that. It's immature for people to think others are suckups because they compliment other people. That's happened to me before. It takes a level of maturity to compliment people just for the sake of complimenting them and not to gain respect for yourself from them. Your friends need to grow up, but there's no reason for you to burn bridges and hate them. Just play along, but if it gets out of hand and it gets personal, maybe they're just not good, true friends. |
