What drew you into xanga,, or other blogs? Options

I liked the idea of having a little space where I could vent out some frustrations, or just go on and on about anything I wanted to without worrying about talking too much or getting on anyone's nerves.

Also, as strange is it is, I felt like I had a little privacy from those I knew in real life, so-to-speak.

Xanga was a Sunday morning ritual for me for a while. I used to love to spend about 30 minutes or so, drinking coffee and just writing about my week. How I felt, what I did, how my son was, etc.
