How are your guys' thanksgiving dinners? I'm sure some of you have your cutsy little family traditions. Or some weird tradition, but someone else has to have that wacked out thanksgiving.

For instance:

Last year, it ended with my 50-60 year old great aunts and uncles screaming names at each other. Like "YOU ARE SUCH A STUPIDHEAD!" And throwing food. I left with mashed potatoes and gravy in my hair.

Anything interesting happen when your family gets together?

Not really. My cousins come over every thanksgiving, but we ... dislike each other, so not that much family love going around.

I love thanksgiving, we basically bring the family together and eat a bunch of good food.
It's one of my favorite holidays.

Hmm, Thanksgiving usually falls on my mom's birthday, my sister's birthday or somewhere near that, so we celebrate their birthdays and have a dinner. Nothing really out of the ordinary happens.
But, this year I really want to go to the Thanksgiving Parade and spend the day with my boyfriend because it will be our one year anniversary.

My thanksgiving is usually the same every year. People come over. I watch tv. I get fat. People get fat. People leave.

And there's my thanksgiving for ya. :P

My family and I went to South Padre Island last Thanksgiving. It was REALLY nice and we wanted to make a tradition to go there everywhere, but -tear- we're not going this year. _dry.gif
I don't have Thanksgiving dinner with anyone out of my immediate family because we're the only ones who live in the south. Everyone else lives up in New England.

No, not really. This year, we aren't celebrating it with many relatives, because my mom's older brother [who's my uncle] is mad at her for some ludicrous reason [his wife influences him now], and so. Yep.
What a fun Thanksgiving this is going to turn out to be.

lol nothing as interesting as YOUR thanksgiving!
But every year usually we get together with my grandparents, aunts and uncles, throw in a few cusins. We usually have dinner at our house. Our tradition is the women do all the cooking and cleaning, while the men sit on their butts and watch television and argue with each other about the right way how to pronounciate(sp?) certain words.
lol, and oh yes, of course we eat too much and have turkey sandwhiches for the next 3 weeks

My family is planning a small dinner with just me and my parents (my brother is overseas this Thanksgiving, unfortunately).

The most people I've had Thanksgiving dinner was three or four. This year, it's only John, Geena and me.
