no...i've never been in a relationship or seen the notebook, so even if the former weren't true, i still wouldn't know. although teesa thinks this one story i told was like the notebook...not sure why, though

I had a relationship EXACTLY like The Notebook *except when they die...cause I aint tht old yet*
My first love and I had a summer relationship like The Notebook...then he left cause of school and he lived bout 30 minutes away from me so we broke up...We had a fight after and didnt talk for a while even though we both thought bout each other when we were through...then Im not sure about him but now I have quite waiting for him and moved on and now im with my second love...I love him SOO much, I dont want my first love NE more.. kinda seem like it? |

^^ It wasn't exactly "perfect." If it was, they wouldn't have had any intervening factors like her mother and her ex-fiance. They would have stayed together and wouldn't have broken up. But I do admit it is a pretty good love story.

STOP. MAKING. STUPID. POSTS. Sorry, folks, that had to be done. As for the relationships, everyone has a different level of compatibility and their own special someone. I don't see the point in basing real life relationships with a scripted one in a movie. |

My relationship right now is kinda like the notebook .. I'm just wondering if we're going to have that happy ending where we get back togher again ... he moved to Japan even though we still are in love with each other ... it's crazy and I'm still trying to deal with it but hey if life was like "The Notebook" then I wouldn't mind the wait if we really could get back together like in the movie!

In many, many ways, yes. It's a long-distance thing, my mother didn't want us to be together at first, but he kept trying. We've been through a lot. It's pretty unique, though. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Noah doesn't even compare to him. I lucked out.
