Ok sry. Here are the details. Me and him we talk a lot abt basically anything and everything and there arent that many awkward silences or anything. Were friends but we flirt a lot and he kinda makes it seem like he likes me. Well we were just talking today and he was bugging me abt who i liked so i kinda let it slip he thought i was joking somewhat but i was serious and he didnt rlly respond. So yea, thoughts anyone?

it really depends on who, when, the situation, and the relationship b/w me and the girl. lots of factors that u need to add in.

I would personally see if she was serious first, make something like:

Her:I like you
me:Really? Prove it.
her:*response*
me:I appreciate the courage you took to tell me this.*not exactly these words*

and then go on through conversation, make sure it doesn't seem akward and stuff. The one thing guys don't want, is an akward situation. I personally would make sure it didn't at least SEEM that way.

NORMAL guys however:

Her:I like you
Guy:*thinking: think think think...* Silence*

They make the situation akward. If they like you then they will think of how to tell you. If they don't, they will think of how to reject you.

So, don't think that thinking is a problem, or silence. It's just them trying to think, because they were caught off gaurd.

o0o0o hey i got a friend of my bf's who was friends with me to tell him..and he didn't really believe her n stuff..(this was obviously BEFORE he was my bf)..n when he went online..n we talked..n it was sort of akward..but i just confirmed it..n he didn't say anything..and i was just soo confused. but the NEXT DAY he told me he liked me tooo =) n we've been together for almost 4 months now.

depends on if the guy liked the girl back. i dont think its that big of a deal. i guess im just more open about it and not embarassed to tell a girl how i feel, but i dont know what its like for a girl to come out and say it.
