Well i have my dream room. It is a dark blue, with whitish grey trim, and dark wood, almost black wood draws and stuff. Then i put a bunch of posters of girls, and got a surfboard rack over my bed to put my surfboard about 3 days ago. I also have a flat raido thing on my wall. I have some picturess. Im going for a surfer themed room, sort of liek the feel when you walk into hollister. But yeah..
Here is a pic of my room.

I can't find a picture, but my dream room would have a theme. No theme now, which is really stupid, but I can't do anything about it because I'm seriously low on money. I think the last I wanted to do was navy and tan plaid. LOL. Plaid anything is okay with me.

Uhh, some vibrant wall color, but not one that would look ugly when it's faded. Maybe a nice apple green? Or a dark mango color.
I want like small couches, red cherry wood drawers

yeah, i don't know. I don't really have it all planned.

In my room I have a mural of the beach with palm trees but I would like to have a part of my room with pillows where I can just chill like beyonce's room watch cribs!

Heh, well dreams room definately differ from person to person.

I don't know how you'll get some inspiration but
I wish mine to be a gothic antique room.
Possibly with a medium sized chandelier hanging in direct eyesight of my satin bed with drapes surrounding it.
There would be a cold, stone floor, not cold in the sense of rough though.
I want the stone to be of a rather.... easing state to the touch.

Hm, yeah, my fantasies. I don't know how that'll help you out. Kind of fancy.

Hardwood floors.
Big, big bed with a dark wooden bedframe, perhaps a canopy of some sort with a soft, white comforter.
Big door or window overlooking an ocean or a beach.

Basically, something along the lines of this

paint two sidesof the room green and two sides yellow or blue.
then trim the place with the color you don't use.

take a white or an off-white and draw designs all over the walls and scribble your name somewhere in there. it'll look cool.

and paint everything that's brown or not matching splatter-style!

hurrah for artists

of course, i'm not going for the green/blue/yellow look. but i think the above would look cool if that's the look you're trying to achieve.

I'd like it to be bigger than the one I have now.
I wouldn't opt for a real bed. I'm not sure what I'd have, but I don't know... that seems kind of fun and I'd have more space for things I liked better.
I'd keep all of my clothes and crap in my closet (it would be fairly large), so I wouldn't need a dresser.
I'd have a big bookshelf holding all of my books and CDs and crap. I'd have an easel and a spot to practice my instruments. The walls would be black and the ceiling would be lime green. I'd have one, small window near the 'artsy' area of my room.

Hm... oh, and a computer by my bed.

I actually have 2 dream rooms, if that's okay.

Dream Room 1:
The room would be pretty small, &the walls would be painted light yellow (not the bright yellow that'll blind you). The floor would be covered with a beige carpet. I'd have a comfy twin sized bed, &there would be a whole bunch of pillows &teddys. I'd have 2 little wooden shelves. One of them would have books, &the other one would have pictures in frames on them. I would have a nice silky beige curtain with flowers drawn on them. I would have a wooden treasure box next to my bed.
Ahh.<3

Dream Room 2:
The room would be pretty big, & the walls would be painted hot pink with 2 orange stripes on them. I'd have a queen sized bed, &the sheets would be bright. I'd have some bright glittery stars hanging from the ceiling. There would be some bright-colored bean bags on the floor. The whole floor would be covered by an orange fuzzy carpet. I would store my clothes in some bright suitcases.

I saw my dream room in an EXPO catalog... it was a pastel color, it had stripes, it had white borders, it was perfect...

... [continues rambling]...

and it would be a loft with huge windows overlooking the waterfall just past my backyard and mountains in the distance... and I'm still debating on some variation of a hammock just because it sounds cool... but if not, I think I'd like a top bunk. Not a bunk bed, but a double bed up at the hight of a top bunk with a ladder and all, with lots of space underneath for stuff... and a HUGE desk with lots of drawers... and everything would be navy and... nah, not tan, offwhite, navy and offwhite, and the walls would be navy because I've always had white walls (renters, ick) and the trim offwhite, and....

...ahh I can't wait to be moved out and living single where I could do this for the whole house... cool.gif

I'd love a vintage room. Or a retro room - with polka dots, stripes, colorful bean bags, etc.
