Hey, uhm well i working on a layout for xanga. I used the tutorials you provided to make a skin. But whenever i work on i guess "div" layouts.. i can never get the blog in the right place..same with the Profile modules. >.< However, i kind of got it..but then my profile modules either messes up the allignment which makes my blog go further left..(which makes the scroll bar not the way i want it lol). So basically, how can i separate my blog from my modules..when coding. Like you work on the placement of the blog area. then without messing it up...(hopefully possible) work on the placement of the Navigation//profile modules.
--This Is my layout thing: LAYOUT TEST its all messed up.. even the XANGA banner is in there >.< I was wondering if anyone can review my code.. to see if i have to change things...haha im not asking anyone to make my layout..but if i have mistakes in it >.< (if that's possible..if not..suggestions are good ^.^) --welpz..dherrs my big question! haha well, thanks so much if anyone gets this. LOL QUOTE Please use the codebox for codes and not the quote button. **i messed up on the link: LAYOUT TEST Posts merged. This post has been edited by MissMata: Jun 14 2005, 09:31 PM |

First, you need to put the div for the profile/information before the div for the blog. Then you need to position the profile/info div and then the blog div.
Whew, I hope that made sense. |

It's because of the horizontal rule.
CODE <style type='text/css'>hr{width: 150;}</style>

It doesn't really matter where you put it, at the top of your header would work. You can also make the horizontal rule dissapear by using this:
CODE <style type="text/css>
hr{ display: none; } </style> |
