Okay--I have a song on my computer that i want to use for my xanga. It's a windows media player file...i know i have to host it from some website, but it hasn't worked with any of the websites i've tried...i don't know what to do now so that's why i came here to cB....i'm a beginner at this, and if anyone could kindly help me along with this hosting music shtuff, i would greatly appreciate it.

acutally...this didn't work...my friend who just viewd it said he got a "download licensce to listen to music" thing. help?? ((again?)) The file i used was a .wma

I know some people have already replied, but I figured I'd throw my two cents in. I very much recommend www.acidplanet.com. They'll let you upload any number of songs, and any number of videos for free. No bandwith limitations or anything. I use it for all my songs, and it's served me good

You need to remove the stuff on the file if you ripped it directly from a CD. Try converting to MP3 and back to WMA.... Kinda roundabout, but it may remove the protection. There are also programs for this...
