 hmmm ive been thinking lately and i feel soo pesimisstic about what im gonna say .......i`ve felt like i have wasted my whole senior year even though i have moved for a year ....i havent really bonded with anyone around here .....i got a few calls and stuff but i really never got to hang out with any of them because ive always felt insecure and self-concious about myself...people around here is totally different from what im used too..i felt like a total loner .....now that its the end of the school year it wouldn`t matter because i know i could refresh again in college ....but i still feel soo negative about wasting my time in my senior year.  ....any advice ?...

Well, unless you have a time machine, you can't really go back to the past and relive your senior year, so my advice would be to move on. Don't dwell in the past and what you didn't do..concentrate on the present and what you will do NOW..or else you'll regret it later..
As for not bonding with anyone here..a lot of ppl are like that. It's a big site, and unless you're posting 24/7, it's sorta hard to get noticed. Point is: Don't dote..move on. You've got your life to live. Hope that helps. |

So you're saying...you spent so much time on CB your senior year and wasted it? Aw. I love CB. But. that's over now..you just have to make the best of everything. Because you have so much left of life. I don't plan on spending a whole lot of time on the internet when HS starts up for me. It was really your choice.

There's really no advice we can give you. You pretty much waisted the most important year of highschool. Just don't make the same mistake in college.

Haha..
I think the internet is very addicting in general..like as soon as you wake up..you think "Turn the Computer on and go to the internet".. Online forums and such can also be very addicting..like Createblog..and I have an online website too (In my sig)...so I think the key to all this is to limit our time on Createblog..or on the internet in general..that way we won't be stuck staring at the screen for the entire day..and we can actually do something brain stimulating..like sports and stuff.. That's the problem with today's generation..we're all high tech..and the problem of obesity is bigger than ever because kids would rather sit in front of a computer and munch chips instead of going outside and playing.. Ah well. Tis life. Haha..that was long. |
