the lulabies you sang to me at night, woould cure me. from this insomnia.
I cant sleep. i cant rest. i cant escape the thought of you.
I never meant to make it hurt this bad.
but i cant change what happened in the past.
the streaming tears fall from our face. from our hearts. from our veins.
we cry. we beat. we bleed.
we looked at the stars and how they trace the face of the night.
the moon starts to fade away. day is coming, and the night has gone.
this beautiful night under tthe starlit sky.
we can never forget. i know i wont forget.
the bleachers sit. the man still screams. the field stay lit. our lips still touch.
but now its over. that was oh so long ago. a summer ago.
it sits here on this piece of paper. ink inscripts lines with so much meaning.
i never though that 4 letter word could mean so much. love. but what it is, is just a way to escape the pain we feel. the pain will follow as life goes on. the pain still follows, Ill never move on.
