Wrong forum. Should be in Xanga Help.
Try searching for topics like that in Xanga Help... I've seen a large number of topics on video players |

I tried to search Xanga help on the topic of video players. No luck. I have a Quicktime file on my desktop that I want to post on my xanga site. Do I need to use javascript or some other language to do this??

make sure the url of the video is the actual file instead of a php launch link...
so make sure the url ends with ".mov" or ".mpg" or whatever |

I have already verified that the file has a .mov extension. What is the next step?

Put the .mov link in the code.
And then place it at the top of the custom header if you want it near the top, or web stats if you want it near the bottom. Or in a div. Or whatever. |

I am assuming then that I need to find a site to host my quicktime file. Am I correct in assuming that I cannot upload directly from my desktop?

If it is true that I must find a site to host my quicktime file, then do you have any suggestions?
