There is this guy at my school. He is the type of person who is quiet if he doesn't care and loud around his friends. I have a slight crush on him and I would like to become friends with him. I'm not shy, and I'll make small conversation with him like, "hey, what's up?" I try to ask him about stuff that he likes. I talk to him, and he'll talk to me but he generally doesn't seem interested in what I have to say. At the talent show (we both performed) he seemed more open and what not, maybe because I was talking about his band with him.

I know that maybe I should just give up. If he doesn't like me maybe I should just stop trying. But people have always opened up to me. I don't have a hard time making friends so why is this so hard. Is it that he hates me, am I annoying, am I going about this the wrong way. I don't make stupid attempts like "Oh I love your binder." (yeah I know people who have used that excuse). I keep asking myself what I should do but I don't know anymore. That's why I am here.
