My dearest Lauren,
I look at the night sky and I think about you Whenever I think we’re so far apart I look at all those stars Billions of light years away and we seem so close Connected by the sky As if we are two of those thousands of stars in the sky Here to face a huge world together I wish you could stay tiny for ever Never get your heart broken Or fall flat on your face Never realize what our dad and your mom really are I wish I could keep you safe Sing life’s sweet lullaby and wash your troubles away Sit and rock you until you fall asleep And say “it’s ok everything will be all right ,so just sleep tight, my little angel….sleep tight “ eeep. a bit rough but criticism needed mkthnx |
