eh. I get em all the time. It's ok. The bumpy look is in.

Or you could use a gel and some clips maybe to even them out?

LOL OMGGG I REMEMBER when i used to do a HIGH (like REALLY high) ponytail backin middle school ..i use to be obsessed w/ a CLEAN , slick look.. meaning no bumps hahahah ....i just BRUSHED it WHILE I had the band around my hand... and yeas, i have thinnish hair too...

but these days, i just do the Messy- look bun... on purpose.

Yeah, I get them all the time. Plus I'm growing my bangs and clips don't work well with my hair. After I comb it one or two more times, it gets better. I don't mind if it's a little bump.

maybe you have those because you've had a ponytail for a long time? I used to have that when I was in 6th grade because I always put my hair up but now I keep it down

hehe, i never heard of it being reffered to as "pony bumps". I have the same problem, pantene pro V sleek and smooth gel works for me, also when your hair is damp almost dry but still a little wet it's easier to put up.

haha when i saw pony bumps i was like huh? horse bumps? Camels? whats that doing here? then i read on. lolz. for all those people asking what pony bumps are... to my understanding is the wave of hair that is left after you have untied your ponytail. =S i hope that made sense anyways..

My solution: Put a small spray bottle filled with water and spray the 'bump' then comb it out. or just leave it.. my hair is always like that.

my hair does it all the time...you just live with it... it's not as bad if you don't tie it as tight with the elastic, or use a scrunchie or so it's not so much tension around your hair I guess. Also, sometimes if I straighten my hair really well, and let it sit for a while before tying it up, it has a minimal ponytail bump

Maybe your hair tie is too tight, try a scrunchie.

get this, my friend has the longest, most gorgeous hair ever. she was in my gym class and every day she'd take down her hair after class and never have a crease.
she's soooo lucky.
yeah, i get the crease all the time. i just leave my hair up until i get home and can redo it.

There really is no solution for it..

Don't tie it too tightly
or just keep your hair up for that day and don't put it down.
I mean, if you took the time to actually put your hair back in a ponytail why would you want to put it down?
