do we REALLY need a new thread everytime someone finds out something they've done has been jocked?
its irritating, and plus everyone always contributes with exactly the same 'thats awful report them' line... its basically just a spam generator. so they ought to be closed on discovery |

I kind of agree. A few of my graphics got jocked I was thinking about posting a topic on it but decided not too , because of what James just said.

Well, in my opinion, we as a community should give some support to our members. If someone jocked my layout, not that they'd want to (pfft), I would want others to help me tell the jocker to take my layout down. It's like people are being punished for expressing their creativity. That's unjust.
I agree that it does get bothermsome at times, but it's understandable. I would be more likely to read the thread and help out than to read something like... "how many times do you masterbate" threads. |

I think that's a good idea. I mean, all it does it take up space, when each jocking thread is basically the same, so I guess it isn't necesary.

What do you guys think of a "Wall of Shame" topic?
We could have a topic that people could post in, and the first topic would list all the jockers discovered, with links. It wouldn't take up much space, and also gives the message that jocking isn't appreciated here. |

I can agree with a wall of shame. I don't want to ban it altogether.
I think it be a pinned thread, and only the victims would post their complaints and whoever wants to help out/support, do it in his/her own space (PM) and time. |
